  11. I'm having a problem with my Sporster 28.8 external with true V.32
  12. On startup, I have to flash the TR serial line to get the modem to
  13. respond and accept any commands at all.  Usually, I do this by
  14. turning the modem on first, and when the computer is powered on, 
  15. the TR line flashes briefly.  Or, I usually just issue a hangup
  16. command from Procom which has a similar effect.  If the modem is
  17. turned on when TR is high, the modem doesn't respond.  If the modem
  18. is turned on when TR is low, TR must return to low, and then high to
  19. work properly.  
  20. Any ideas - an error in the ROM perhaps?
