- I'm having a problem with my Sporster 28.8 external with true V.32
- On startup, I have to flash the TR serial line to get the modem to
- respond and accept any commands at all. Usually, I do this by
- turning the modem on first, and when the computer is powered on,
- the TR line flashes briefly. Or, I usually just issue a hangup
- command from Procom which has a similar effect. If the modem is
- turned on when TR is high, the modem doesn't respond. If the modem
- is turned on when TR is low, TR must return to low, and then high to
- work properly.
- Any ideas - an error in the ROM perhaps?
